October, 8th 2025, INTERSOM Relief and Development Organization welcomed a delegation from UNICEF, led by the Country Representative Madam Sandra Labouf, visited INTERSOM’s Jowhar office and Vocational Skills Training School. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Abdikadir Mohamed, Deputy Director with the Jowhar team.
During the visit, the INTERSOM team presented a comprehensive overview of the school’s ongoing activities, highlighting how students are gaining valuable vocational skills that enhance their employability and self-reliance. The UNICEF delegation engaged with children, observed practical training sessions, and expressed appreciation for the impactful work being done.
