INTERSOM started voluntary water trucking response service on 20^th May 2023 to the internally displaced people in the Ex Airport area of Baladweyne, following severe river floods that submerged almost the entire city. On day one of the water, trucking 1050 HHs living in four neighboring IDP camps in Ex Airport area received clean water for drinking and cooking – each household received 40Ls of water.
